Marriage License
In the State of Oregon you may purchase your marriage license in anyone of the our counties and use it to be married any where in Oregon. The County Clerk's office will be the place to get your marriage license application and pay your fee.
You can contact the Clatsop County Clerk's office by phone 503-325-8511 or mail at 820 Exchange Street, Suite 220, Astoria, OR 97103. Everything can be handled by mail with no need for the bride and groom to personally appear at the clerk's office.
There is a three day waiting period in Oregon once the license has been signed and issued by the clerk's office and the license is good for the next 60 days.
